A Hotel since 1894, William Hancock, a brewer from Wiveliscombe, erected the Present building in 1886 on the site of the old Three Horseshoes Inn and the buildings around the courtyard at the rear are the original stables and coachmen's cottages.
Take a tour of the picturesque village of Porlock. Travel through the narrow streets with its interesting shops and boutiques. Porlocks origins can be traced back to the 12th century and has some lovely old thatched buildings, an ancient parish church and museum.
Ride up Porlock hill and into the surrounding countryside taking in the breath-taking views of Exmoor, Porlock and Porlock Weir.
